Description:
St. Martin hiking/walking/cross country ski trail is maintained by the St. Ignace Ranger District of the Hiawatha National Forest. Located in the Hiawatha National Forest the St. Martin ski trail was completed in 1992.
The trail is rated as easy to moderate. Tall grass and no defined treadway makes locating the trail difficult. The beginning of the trail is located near the first pond approximately 1/4 mile south of M-134 on Search Bay Road (FR-3436).
Points of interest O outstanding opportunities to view wildlife, particularly in the cedar areas which are part of the St. Martin deer yard. Eagles and hawks also tend to winter in this area and are visible in tall trees along Search Bay Road.
